Puerto España (jul. 14/21). Ante la pandemia y con motivo de la celebración de la Independencia de Colombia, la Embajadora compartió con las autoridades de gobierno de Puerto España, a nivel local y de Trinidad y Tobago, a nivel nacional; cuerpo diplomático y sociedad civil, anchetas con productos colombianos que se pueden comprar en diversos supermercados en la isla.

De esta manera se ha podido cumplir con la primera función de un Embajador, de acuerdo con la Convención de Viena sobre Relaciones Diplomáticas de 1961 que es la Representación y, simultáneamente, con la promoción de los productos colombianos. Sabemos que la reactivación económica es fundamental para el progreso social de Colombia.
