Los gobiernos de Brasil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay y Perú, miembros del Foro para el Progreso e Integración de América del Sur PROSUR, lamentamos y condenamos el asesinato del Presidente de Haití, Jovenel Moïse, ocurrido el día de hoy, en Puerto Príncipe.

Expresamos nuestra solidaridad con su familia y con todo el pueblo haitiano ante este vil y cobarde acto criminal que atenta contra el orden democrático y el respeto de los derechos humanos en Haití y en la Región.

The governments of Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay and Peru, members of the Forum for the Progress and Integration of South America, PROSUR, regret and condemn the assassination of the President of Haiti, Jovenel Moïse, which took place today in Port-au-Prince.

We express our solidarity with his family and with the entire Haitian people in the face of this vile and cowardly criminal act that undermines the democratic order and respect for human rights in Haiti and the region.
