Trinidad y Tobago 16 de septiembre. Con el objetivo de crear vínculos y colaboraciones entre las celebraciones carnavaleras de Trinidad y Tobago y Colombia se reunieron William Bush Howard, Embajador de la República de Colombia en Trinidad y Tobago y Peter Kanhai, Presidente de la Comisión Nacional del Carnaval (NCC) de Trinidad y Tobago, en la sede de la Comisión.

Durante el encuentro Kanhai destacó la historia y la importancia del Carnaval en Trinidad y Tobago, por su parte el embajador Bush también compartió información sobre dos importantes celebraciones carnavaleras de su país, el Carnaval de Barranquilla y el Carnaval de Negros y Blancos que se realiza en Pasto.

His Excellency William Bush Howard, Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia to Trinidad and Tobago, attended a courtesy meeting with Mr. Peter Kanhai, Chairman of the National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago, at the Commission’s headquarters on Tuesday 16th September 2025.

During the meeting, Mr. Kanhai highlighted the history and importance of Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago. Ambassador Bush also shared information about two major carnival celebrations in Colombia, Barranquilla Carnival in the city of Barranquilla and The Black and White Carnival in Pasto. The mutual goal of both the Chairman and the Ambassador is to create connections and collaborations between the carnival celebrations of both nations.
